I am not really sure they care that much, if iphone becomes a success it is still good for them. One of the reasons behind creating android was just to get more mobileinternet cellphone users that could access their services, if they use android or iphone to do that is not important. Android will still help lower the prices of smartphones and force the other players in the market to have a good webbrowser on their plattform too so that eventually everyone will have a brwoser on their cellphone.
