If you don't believe me just compare new iPhone releases here http://appshopper.com/ with recent apps you may have downloaded on Android for the same price.
I'm not saying the apps are better - if I had an iPhone, I still wouldn't download / buy 99% of them (!), but when you check the screenshots by clicking into the apps on the link above, you'll see that almost all apps are much more visually appealing than their Android counterparts. I know its not a technical limitation - iPhone and G1 have same screen size and color depth, so it must surely be iPhone devs making more effort because of iPhone user expectations. Is it a good / bad thing that Android has uglier apps? I'm not sure yet, good to focus on content I guess, but presentation should count for something I think. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
