Thanks for the useful input.

    1) But at: http://developer.android.com/guide/basics/what-is-android.html,
following is one of documented features of Android Platform:
         ยท Integrated browser based on the open source WebKit engine

      2) Also, as per WebKit standards (mentioned in plug-ins sub-section at:
http://webkit.org/projects/)

WebKit supports two types of plug-ins, cross-browser plug-ins using an enhanced
form of the Netscape plug-in API and WebKit plug-ins that are designed for use
by embedded applications that need to display native OS X content integrated
with the Web document.

Please clarify the following:

What is the technical limitation for disallowing the Android Application
developers to create and register new Web browser plug-in (say based on NPAPIs
using C/C++ language)?

Where this limitation is officially documented?

Any plans to remove this limitation?

How websites which are based on plug-ins (e.g Flash plug-in) will work in
Andorid Browser.
