I'm an experienced developer looking to start developing for mobile platforms, having looked around for which platform to start with I'm left with the feeling that they are all different, i.e.
Android - appears to be only supported by TMobile JavaME - proclaims to be universal but I can only find it mentioned for LG Apple - uses there own development environment I was hoping to find that Java was used by all, hence develop for one platform and then 'tweek' to make the app fit all. Android looks the better but if its only going to be adopted by TMobile it might not be worth the effort learning. Apple appear to have the largest market with an easy root to market, but it requires buying an Apple Mac, and will only run on the IPhone. LG appear to support several versions of their phones, but the 'help' appears to be weak. As I say I'm just looking to get started and would appreciate the views of you guys that have been playing for a while.
