ok sorry to make a thread about money, but its something we all think
about right?
Anyway which app do you think has made the most money to date? Also
through other channels, e.g. advertising, etc.
To start the ball rolling, here are some popular apps ranging from
cheaper to most expensive and I have estimated revenue based on the
middle point of the download bracket (probably wildly out, but what
else do we have to go on) I then took off 30% for Google Checkout Fees
but I have no idea about tax rates for these devs.
Power Manager Full
$0.99 (10,000 - 50,000) -> $29,700 = $20,790 (after fees)
aHome
$4.99 (10,000 - 50,000) -> $149,700 = $104,790 (after fees)
TouchDown Pro License
$24.99 (500 - 1,000) -> $18,743? = $13,121 (after fees)
So I am thinking aHome is doing best - wish I'd written it myself
now!!!
Anyone think of any apps doing even better?
