haha good point. well no, i dont spam. i guess i just want to ensure that i get some sort of mentioning for it. you know, some personal glory. another thing is that i might say it, and then you guys think it's a stupid idea full of faults. so just to save some embarrassment. i guess it doesnt really matter though huh.
so i thought about it while just messing around on the phone, and i thought it would be awesome to create some kind of fishing game/app. you can start off by selecting the lake you wanna go to, the bait you wanna use, stupid stuff. the part that i think would be cool is that you have to actually cast (this can be done by the use of the accelerometer). and as you cast the line, there can be some sort of slight vibration until the line is actually in the water. the harder you cast the line, the further it goes, therefore the longer it vibrates. then when the fish bites, you can once again add the force feedback. the player will then have to yank the phone back to actually hook the fish, and then use the trackball to reel it in. to make it more exciting, the player would have to make sure the line doesnt break as he reels the fish in by lowering the rod (phone) or by releasing some line (depressing the trackball). also, if the fish swims in one direction, he would have to pull the phone in another. i think this would be an awesome game. sure, it would look ridiculous to see someone cast an invisible rod on the subway. and it would be hilarious to see somebody actually throwing the phone into a wall because he slipped. but other than that, i dont see where the problems would come in. thats where you guys come in.
