Yes, but it (minSdk) is set to 1 and apps are visible on an HTC Magic
in the UK.

Over on the Android market forum, someone suggested a plausible theory
that customers in Germany might currently only have access to paid
downloads from US developers. Anyone able to confirm or deny that?

If it is the case, then I have the same frustration I've had with
Android market since the start - why can't Google simply list was is
and what is not supposed to work at any given time (in terms of
supported customer countries, supported developer countrie and so on),
so we don't have to speculate?
