You require A2DP bluetooth profile to support sterio audio. Android 1.5 supports this (1.0 and 1.1 do not), and the other device must also support this.
BTW: isn't buying a whole new sterio a little much just to add bluetooth when you could buy a car kit with FM transmitter?
