So you've got no pointers to a standards document showing that it's an Outlook non-conformance issue as opposed to Google Groups just not being able to handle a format that was in use before Google Groups existed.
The survey is one survey, you say it has no relevance, I say it does, you say pot-ate-oh I say pot-ah-toe, I'd read your survey if they didn't block the browser used by me and 40% of other web users, but hey that 40% figure came from another survey so who knows. As for your views on Microsoft, well, those are yours, but nobody forced me to use Outlook, I chose to use Exchange (in order to get a decent web UI to my mail) and got Outlook 2007 for free, and so far it's done everything I needed.
