The response is probably disappointing because:
1- Your question is not very clear.  It's really vague.
2- It's not the right forum.
3- Some people sleep at night, work during the day and have fun during
they week-ends. Most people don't check the forums every 5 minutes.
Please give it some time to get a reply. Then complaining you don't
get answer won't motivate people to actually provide one either.

Point 1 is that you might want to rephrase your question. Try these:
- Are you talking about the android "full" source code that you want
to download? In this case ask in android-platform or something like
that. You select which version of android you want by using repo init
... -b <tagname>
- Are you talking about targetting an SDK app to android 1.0 vs 1.1 or
1.5? In this case you want to change the <uses-sdk> tag in your
androidmanifest.xml.
- Are you taliing of testing your SDK app on a 1.01 vs 1.1 or 1.5
emulator? In this case the AVD is what you need to change.
