I noticed while a friend was showing me the iPhone version of Google Maps that it has a feature to keep the map constantly centered on your current location. Meaning, if you're in motion, your icon stays in the center and the map moves around your current location.
The Android implementation of Google Maps seems to be missing this feature. [It's still missing in the Cupcake release] Among other things, it would make it a lot safer to use while moving, which let's face it, people are going to do anyway. Any ideas as to why it was left out, or if there are any plans to add it, or if there's a way to give official feedback to Google to add it? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
