As I understand it if the user gets the original app via Market they *must* pay via Market.
You can offer it for sale via other channels, but I'm not sure how Google will look on sales to people via another channel who tried to buy via Market. It's probably worth trying to get clarification from someone at Google in order to ensure your don't get your app de-listed. Why not? I thought the T&Cs were that you could not offer a trial/demo/lite version through the market and sell a version elsewhere. Didn't think the T&Cs stated that if an application is offered for sale in the market then you could not offer it for sale through any other channels, therefore giving the Android Market exclusivity of your product.
