Well it's an invite for a Beta program - you could consider signing up
to find out. Other than that I suppose they meant to say
"impressions".
"Buyer" beware however... I've noticed apps popping up in Shazam a few
weeks ago. It appeared to me they were using some sketchy third party
framework that tiptoed around Android Market ToS, but apparently now,
that's part of the program. To me, the ads were intrusive, in
particular in their irrelevance, tarnishing Shazam's otherwise super
nice presentation and storyline. I suppose that's what to expect? I'd
be apprehensive to include this in any app - there's no second chance
for a first impression, which, to me, makes pitching this program as
BETA inappropriate. In its end user exposure, this needs to be right,
right out of the gate.
Any opinions out there to contrast mine? Don't let the criticism
mislead you, I'd like to see this kind of stuff succeed.
