Suppose I wanted to use a Google Account for 1. Authenticating a user to an application 2. Having a reliable user id for looking up user info. 3. Allowing app users to find each other (be a little bit social)
There are several authentication schemes described here: http://code.google.com/apis/accounts/ ClientLogin appears to be most suited for a mobile app. Anyone have experience with this? Can we turn google accounts on our Android phones into Facebook friend lists? Any advice or recommendations?
