Hi Ray, Google currently retain control of distribution of the Market app on the available Android 'phones, but you're more than welcome to use the AndAppStore alternative to the Market App which you can get from http://andappstore.com/AndroidApplications/apps/7661

G2 has a "Market App", which is similar to iPhone "App Store", to allow users to download and manage applications. As this "Market App" has NOT yet made available to android platform, I have a few questions as the following:- 1. Will Google by any chance submit "Market App" to OHA, or license it to 3rd party phone manufacturers? 2. If not, is there any open standard for us to develop our own "market app". Has any 3rd party developed their similar "Market App" and made it available to the open source community?
