Hi All The screen on my platform has a default landscape orientation. Meaning the scanning order is from top left to the right. The screen resolution is 800 x 480
When I play a video which is 800 x 480 or greater the Gallery application rotates and plays the video in portrait mode instead of landscape mode. Question : 1. Does the application assume the default orientation to be portrait ? 2. Where does the application make this decision to rotate the video in the code ? 3. I am assuming it is querying the screen attributes from the framebuffer . Could it be something to do with the initial values returned by framebuffer ? thanks Venky --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
