I haven't used it in one of my apps, but I did once download an app from the market (can't remember what it was now) and was surprised to find that it requested Internet permissions when (on the face of it) it was a totally offline app that shouldn't need to access the Internet.
It made me a bit suspicious, so I sent the developer an email asking why their app requested Internet access. They replied that it was because they used Flurry. I was satisfied with the answer, but it did put me off the idea of using Flurry myself for an app that doesn't otherwise need Internet access. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
