Hello Dear T-Mobile customers. I have heard from some of you that when
you go abroad with your T-Mobile phones, Android polls Google for
updates periodically, resulting in large data roaming charges to you.
I've also heard that Google has recently fixed this, so that it no
longer polls when abroad, although I am not aware of which Android
version that has the fix. Tragically, T-Mobile won't pay for me to fly
around the world to test it for myself. Does anyone have anecdotal
experience that confirms or refutes the hope that it has indeed been
addressed?
