Google gives that 30% to operators/carriers. They don't have big financial incentives comparing to Apple to really push for a better app Market. Almost a year into the launch of Market, we are still waiting for longer app descriptions and ability to upload/view app screen shots. How hard is it to upload a few pictures that links to your app?
