Wikitude does not work in portrait mode, and that's also one of the biggest augmented reality apps. :-)
ING wegwijzer (The Netherlands only) also requires landscape mode, as does my own AR app. Apart from AR there are plenty of apps that need to run in landscape mode for a decent looking layout, and IMO there is no excuse for limiting screenshots to portrait mode.
