I don't understand the hardware buttons and I don't see them described anywhere on the website. The rightmost one is clearly back. The middle one is home (but what's the coloured ring? the LED indicator?). The left button looks like it might be for choosing applications, maybe, I don't know.
The thing I find most intriguing is that the hardware buttons for initiating and terminating calls seem to have moved to the homescreen. This surely has implications for replacement homescreens.
