This is D.S.Naveen., Senior Year B.E.,
Computer Science and Engineering student. I am doing my final year
project on "Porting the already created .jar files and .sis files
(Working in Symbian s60 phones) ,onto Android".
I am having a few doubts regarding the
inner details and googling didnt help me out here. So I am mailing
You.
My Queries are:
1. How dows Dalvik execute the application.? I mean we have an
application in the form of "Android Package File(.apk)" which contains
the dex and also the lay outs. Now how does dalvik go onto execute
this bytecode.?
2. If the code relies on Hardware Stuff and that piece of hardware is
not available in that Mobile Phone what will Dalvik do ?
3. How can I create a Android Package(*.apk) without having source.
Is there any tool available for it.
4. And wat does apkbuilder script in tools directory of sdk do ?
