I agree, I doubt that Google will invest in that. It would also create a lot of small transactions to keep track of all subscription.
But when I see that Google is a leader is such technology (online services, some free some not),... M$ also is working on online (through subscription also ?) Office suite. GPS updates, anti-virus require also online payment every year. I (am not alone) think this is the future (OK : not for any kind of app) : rend the possiblity to use a software. The soft maintenance is managed automatically by the editor for you. It would be great (a revolution) if 'regular' people could easily use this.... Will Google bring a new 'revolution' to the IT world ?
