Wonder why Google-ADC2 is so much concerned and tight lipped about the total number of entries they received for ADC2. Developers and rest of the world are aware of the stringent deadline for ADC2 submission as well as the criteria to include only new apps, which may have led to low number of entries. Eric, request you to mention total number of qualified round-1 entries in your next ADC2 post.
Your ADC2 post http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2009/09/adc-2-judging-has-begun.html included: “Today, there are more than 10,000 applications available in Android Market.” Your ADC2 post http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2009/10/adc-2-round-1-scoring-complete.html included: “more than 26,000 Android users reviewed” and “target of over 100 scores per application” Those all are important numbers and thanks for mentioning them, but for contestants its critical to know where they stand at end of the contest. It’s just not sufficient to know that a particular app was among top 200 entries without knowing number of entries it contested to reach there. Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
