lb, it's simple; If you don't know what's being discussed and you don't want to look it up then don't get involved in the discussion.
I'm not forcing everyone to look it up, if people don't want to look up what the device is and not get involved in the discussion then thats' fine as it's their choice and shows they're not interested. On the other hand if people do look it up and reply with an intelligent response then I can see what level of interest they have. Personally I'd hate to see the size of emails on this list grow and grow just because everyone feels they have to include the specs of every device they mention just because you can't be bothered to look up information, or see the list get filled with people asking "Whats' that?" every time something comes up that they don't know about (although most I suspect would do the intelligent thing and spend 30 seconds Googling for it first). As your comments about voice hardware, well, everyone isn't like you and plenty of people are buying devices that can't be used to make calls, but I can see you have trouble understanding the viewpoints of others, so I'll skip over trying to demonstrate some of the benefits to you and just put you down as a not interested.
