The G1, at least, doesn't have line-level out anywhere: you can't get pre-amplified audio, period. (At least, not using the audio features of the OS). I'm hoping to ditch XM in our vehicles and move to Pandora, so I face the same problem. I'm hoping I can solve it with this dirt-cheap ($4.19) stereo to line-level converter.
http://www.amazon.com/Pyramid-NS60-Level-Impedance-Adaptor/dp/B000EFKK5G I found the same device elsewhere for just barely more than $2 (it's just some resistors inside) but they weren't from the kind of sites that I want to give my credit card number. An attenuator isn't great, but it's probably the best we can hope for in a world dominated by the iPod-headphone types. On Sep 28, 5:20 pm, jd <[email protected]> wrote: > Random question..
