Hi, At least then we might have an ongoing (open?) supported 'reference hardware' standard rather than a defacto in the (one off outdated) ADP1 with it lack of full market support and patchy and pricey availability etc.
I think it might also be a good way to keep the other vendors from fragmenting too much ( away from the Google experience ) as we are already starting to see, eg camera preview issues, LED issues with the hero, lack of market support etc...
