Have some pride indy devs!  Try to build better mouse traps you can own
rather than half-hearted rip offs you will feel defensive about.  If you
have an uncomfortable feeling about releasing something its probably there
for a reason ... listen to it.  You will be doing everyone a favor, the
users, your developer peers and the platform as a whole.
