Same here for our "Book Your Trip" (searching Kayak dot com), and, to a lesser extent for "NewsDroid" (Reuters' news). The number of daily activations doubled. I guess people are showing off their new Droids to friends and the 2nd wave of Droid shoppers hits the stores. Lots of newcomers to the platform are curious about what the Market has to offer.
BTW, I wish ADC2 had themes such as "build the best Android Market app." I am 100% sure we would come up with WAY better Market apps than the current one, with its linear, slowly loading lists of apps.
