I am experiencing the same problem, every time I hard-boot my HTC Magic (Rogers).
After I hit the force close button, the phone mostly works. Rogers technical support is useless so I've given up to the point where I am seriously considering an iPhone. Hmm... no way to upload a capture?? On boot up, my phone displays the following: ! Sorry! The process android.process. acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
