Hi, According to the Android developer site ... Android 2.0 will be deployable on Android-powered handsets starting on November 2009; Android 2.0.1 is a minor platform release deployable to Android-powered handsets starting in December 2009.
Well to my perception and by looking at the facts, "deployable ... starting at xxx " is a very safe word to play.
