I just had a couple thoughts about the new 2.1 Android UI. Basically, most of the UI seems relatively the same, except for the homescreen and the gallery. I was just wondering what these kind of varying UI layouts would impact the 'standard' of Android layouts and whether these new UI changes would result in any UI widgets (cube scrolling list, gallery photo 'clumps', etc)...
It seems like a weird move to totally redesign the gallery especially in a very unandroid-y way (more X10-like, really) without redesigning many other apps, such as YouTube, Music Player and the calculator... What do you guys think?
