I'm new to the group, so I may have missed a thread on this, but the auto-answer function seems to be missing on the Droid. Both with and without Bluetooth. My old phone (a clamshell LG that was indestructible and worked fine, but didn't have most of the new and great features the Droid has) had a simple and essential auto-answer function: you put the speakerphone on and the phone was automatically answered after the third ring. Completely hands-free. The phone function on the Droid *phone* is unquestionably (IMHO) the worst of all its functions!. Not only does it lack auto-answer, but to answer a call, you can't simply tap the screen: you must drag the circle from left to right, requiring two hands. Between the lack of auto-answer and the awkward way you're required to answer a call, it's a miracle that a severe accident doesn't occur when driving each time a call is received! The Droid needs a hands-free option, with Bluetooth or without it. The speaker is one of the loudest I've heard and is perfect for hands-free discussion, even without Bluetooth. Please, please (developers) let's get a function on the Droid that has been available on other phones for years!
