I don't think the discussion list is the right place for this. More appropriately you can file this as a bug on:
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/list Which may get changed to an "Enhancement". At least then it will be filed in the proper place to be forgotten about. The Google Calendar offers a repeat "Daily" option that allows you to say how many days it gets repeated, if you enter 14, that should be every other week. You should be able to access the web page from your phone using your phone's browser as well. You could theoretically maybe even add a bookmark link straight to "Create a new event" and put it as an icon on your home screen.
