You're going to have to go through the full rooting procedure. ADP1
system images won't install since you overwrote your SPL and therefore
are locked out.
If you upgrade it to a 1.5 system image (find a tmobile 1.5 OTA
image), you can bypass the sign-in screen and use the 1-click root
procedure. From there you can write back the correct SPL and then
install the latest radio and system image from developer.htc.com/
adp.html
