Hi all I run Product Management for an embedded security software company based in San Francisco - we currently have over 150 customers and millions of devices running our embedded device security framework, that supports 30+ operating systems and 70+ different CPU.
In the last year or so we've been moving up the stack, and have built a series of Device Integrity Services (DIS) prototypes - these use cloud based services in combination with device software to deliver device integrity, and we've used Android as one of our target platforms. We're currently looking for co-development customers or partners who would be interested in being part of our Agile development process - we're looking to understand the problem you need to solve, requirements, usability etc. Enterprise customers, ISVs, OEMs & Enterprises would likely be good targets and in the process you'll be able to influence the direction of our products to better solve your own problems. I'm not trying to sell you anything, and this is a genuine offer - that's why I haven't named my company, and I am using my personal email. If you're interested please drop me a line and we can talk more Some of the services we've prototyped include: Secure Remote Screen Control of Android Devices (i.e. the Android screen appears on a PC, allowing you to view and control the device) Secure File transfer to/from Android Devices Soft feature enablement - use a licensing service to enable new capabilities and features. Remote lock/unlock/wipe Enterprise integration into Active Directory Data Leakage Prevention e.g. PCI DSS Enhanced Certificate management Full IPSEC VPN, connecting to Cisco and Nortel VPN concentrators We're a real nuts and bolts security company, so you may even have a problem not mentioned above - would love to hear.
