The saga continues.

The first mistake I made was having Bluetooth turned off on my N1 when I put it
in the dock.

"The first time you insert the phone in the dock, they pair automatically ..."

Now I can go into "Wireless & network settings" ->"Bluetooth settings"->"Scan
for devices" and it doesn't find the dock. I know the N1's bluetooth is
working because it finds other bluetooth devices when I do a "Scan for devices"
also if I check "Discoverable" on the N1 it shows up on other bluetooth
devices.

So I am guessing that the problem is that the dock is no longer making its
self discoverable. I have turned it off and on, etc. but I don't know how to
get everything reset to a "lets just start over" state.

Does anyone have an idea how to make the dock discoverable again?
