Hi,

I just tried to buy Android Software through the Android Market for
the very first time, but the market app did not accept my data in the
credit card dialog.

Although I have entered everything correctly (and my credit card is
valid) I always get the german error message

"Die von Ihnen angegebenen Informationen enthalten Fehler."
(The form input you have entered is wrong.)

without giving any hint about what's wrong with it.

Does anybody know which sort of syntax (or other) checks are applied
before accepting the input?

(it happens quite often that US-made software does not accept european
address data, since european addresses don't match the strict scheme
of US addresses...)

regards
Hadmut
