We have just published an updated version which contains a new font size "tiny" that should reproduce the pixel-based font size from the previous version of OI Notepad.
I see an inherent problem here, though: Since the resolution of the Droid is so good, any scale-independent font size will look bigger than it would have to, even though the fonts are exactly the same size across devices if you put the devices next to each other...
