i want to generate a broadcast event when the alt key is pressed, instead of the current application consuming it. in other words, i want my application (which is running in the background) to still be able to listen to keyboard events such as when the alt key is pressed. I also was wondering whether i would have to implement it as a service then, instead of an activity?
