Thanks for the interest!

Brilliant Rise Korea will localize. Korea is one of the biggest mobile game
markets in the world.

For T-Store, only Korean publishers can publish. Only 7 publishers are
currently available and I am the largest (in terms of number of apps & games).
Only Korean publishers can get Korean Game Rating Board Approval. With this
approval, developers will get a code that is implemented into SKT's T-Store
ARM/DRM. This will protect you IP/APKs. We will localize, handle payment,
marketing, etc.

Process:

We send us your APKs (probably in English). We show to SKT. They pre-approve
(hopefully)
If so, you send us text/transcript in excel format, we translate and send back
to you
You incorporate and send back to us your Korean APKs. We show again to SKT for
final approval. Please include marketing assets as you would for iPhone. We
also test on all other Korean handsets
We submit the sane APK to the Korean Game Ratings Board. This takes 1-3 weeks
for approval
If approved, you get a Certification Logo (from us via Ratings Board) to put
into the splash/intro screen. With this Cert, you get a AID.
We will teach you how to implement SKT ARM/DRM. Proficient developers usually
take less than 4 hours. Each subsequent submission only take minutes after the
first initial learning time.
We work on the contract while we are submitting to Gam Ratings Board or right
after SKT final approval
You send us final Korean APK with Brilliant Rise Logo as your publisher plus
Cert logo (on Brilliant Rise splash)
We launch.

Whole process takes less than 1 month from showing your English APKs to SKT to
launch.

Note:
Android running 2.1. Most 1.5 and 1.6 are running fine on SKT android phones.
Resolution is 600X480

SKT has 20M subscribers. End of 2010 target of 2M Android handsets (10% of
subs). Based on current trends, Android downloads (all paid) are 10X greater
than WIPI (national proprietary mobile Platform). Therefore, this should
equate to 20M subscribers (which is the total SKT base). In short, at the end
of 2010, a top game should generate US1M/month (which is the current WIPI
revenue generated). A really good top game is generating between US1-3M/month.

I should know. I worked for Com2uS as CMO/COO/Board Director for 7 years. I
was employee 6 and started development studios in Beijing and Bangalore (over
250 developers). When I left, we had over 450 employees.

We are the largest and first mobile game company in Korea to list on KOSDAQ in
2007. Our second market cap was US425M. Not bad for a bunch of young engineers
turning a hobby into a real business. I have lived in Korea since 2001 so
know SKT and KT well (these two constitute 85% market share).

Let me know if you are interested. I have included my work email address.

Thanks everyone for the inquiry.

Hello Henry,

that sure sounds interesting. Can you tell us a little more about the
requirements to sell apps through the SKT T-store? Is there a Korean Business
license / bank account needed? How is the payment handled. Can everything be
accessed in english for the developers?

Hi Everyone.

I am one of the biggest publishers in Korea for Android (which is one
of the world's largest mobile app markets). The SKT's T-Store has
just launched in Feb and we are looking for Android apps & games
immediately. A top mobile game in Korea earns over US1M/month and the
mobile operators are hoping Android will be even larger. Thanks!
