Majura LLC is a startup focused on building the security
infrastructure needed to secure the next generation of connected
devices, with an initial focus on the Google Android platform. This is
a service built for fortune 500 enterprises and government where
security, reliability and performance are critical.

We need a contractor to help us create the initial Android device
agent, and securely connect it into our cloud service. You'll be
working with our highly experienced CTO, and there is the potential
for continued work or even a permanent position. Honestly, we don't
care about resume, age, race, sex, location etc - we do care about
your ability to deliver well written code that runs on Android, and a
passion to do a great job. We also need someone who can start in the
next few weeks. Here is what we're looking for:

* optimizing code to minimize memory consumption and power usage while
ensuring a responsive user experience.

* experience with Android 2.1 developing interactive applications and
system services. Must be familiar with the overall architecture of OS
and SDK framework.

* experience consuming REST and SOAP web services from mobile
applications.

* solid debugging and unit test experience in multi-tiered application
environments.

* experience developing server components is highly desired.

* familiar with web service technologies such as JAX-RS, JAX-WS, Wink,
etc.

* experience developing in JSP

* good understanding of SQL and database interaction from Java

Please don't waste our time if this isn't your thing - we need someone
who really knows Android, and understands that these devices are our
future, and PCs are the past. If you are interested, then please drop
me a line via email.
