As an app user - I'd *nearly* uninstall the app just for that if you did ;)
A consistent UI accross everything is really really important if android is to succeed IMHO... I have to say I dislike some of the stock UI elements - but changing them on an app by app basis is really the wrong way to go about getting them fixed!
