Personally, I as a developer, I consider this news neither good nor bad. Irrelevant. Good news is that Google does a check of applications, ensure that work and the ability to exclude apps for Android devices + version installed.
Android Market is inevitably out of control and you go ahead and worse. Sure. Too dispersed to get to anything.
