I guess I am glad I am not alone in my strangeness.

I am still at FRG83 (no D).   I did get both updates last week, but
never checked the build number (I bet the update never took).

I am in the US on T-Mobile.

I guess I will hope for the announcement of Gingerbread soon, and
apply the update manually which should help me get past this
craziness.
