Based on the original question, it looks like he wants to do 3D, and wants to know what file format to use. This is not really the right question, since there's no 3D engine included as part of Android (OpenGL is a renderer, not an engine), and the answer would depend on what 3D engine is being used. I'm guessing since the question is being asked this way that he's not planning to write his own. An easy answer is to suggest ShiVa3d as a cross-platform engine that already supports 3d and Android. More questions about ShiVa3d should of course be directed to their forums; I don't even know many details about it myself, except that it supports Android.
