The review is wrong. I can confirm that the XOOM micro HDMI port will mirror everything (or at least all the basic stuff) to a TV. The aspect ratio causes some problems -- the bottom was getting cropped in my experiments. Now, I didn't try mirroring the camera preview, and the Galaxy Tab gave me problems with that, so there may be some things it won't display.
