I would just point out that processing payments through Paypal doesn't require the buyer to have a Paypal account. It streamlines the purchase process if they do, but it's not required.
If it were me, I'd go Paypal. Not because I like them - I don't - but they do have good APIs, and they have name recognition. IMHO, that latter counts for something when asking folks to channel their money through a third party.
