I've only got the lowly Eris (two year contract with Verizon up in
November). But I also have a cheap Velocity Cruz tablet for testing
stuff on WVGA. And last Friday I went to Fry's came back with
components for a new 64-bit Linux box to replace the old one. Now I
even sometimes run two emulators at the same time which take all of 1
minute to boot. The machine itself takes about 15 seconds to boot. ;-)

The Epic is a stunningly beautiful screen.
I agree with Chris about the Xoom, though - very enticing.
We have the Sprint shared family plan; unlimited text and data, shared 1700
minutes, but free mobile-to-mobile, free nights and weekends. It ends up
about $200 for 4 devices. Cell service and customer service have been
relatively good - good enough we've been with them for over 4 years.

What I am interested in with Xoom is the Honeycomb build. I would rather
have that and an average second hand phone.
But what ever you do, look deep into the data plan, I am no fan of $15 per
2 GB as some want to charge.
