You've got it! I think there's just as much evidence for that as there
is for these DAU and MAU metrics that are being touted.

My favorite metric to track when all is said and done: sales. I know
sales influence ranking to some degree. If I managed to multiply my
sales by 10X, and still didn't get the ranking I thought I deserved,
somehow I just wouldn't care so much.

about whether they are profitable than whether Google "likes" them.
